YOUTH WORKER
📍 Heart of Fife Parish Church St Drostan’s Building, Markinch with plans to expand to additional locations across Glenrothes, Leslie and Thornton.
Do you have a passion for supporting children and young people?
We are looking for an enthusiastic Youth Worker to join our team and help create safe, welcoming and inspiring spaces where young people can belong, grow in confidence, build friendships and discover their potential – in our parish and community.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
-
Deliver engaging youth clubs, activities and events
-
Build positive relationships with children and young people from P1 to College
-
Encourage confidence, wellbeing, friendships and leadership

Support and build our volunteer team
-
Organise holiday programmes, events and occasional trips away

Promote our youth work through social media and community engagement

Ensure all activities are safe and in line with safeguarding procedures
HOURS TERM TIME Thursdays 4:30pm – 9:30pm
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS Thursdays 6:30pm – 9:30pm
SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUB Monday – Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm First week of the school summer holidays
CHRISTMAS PROGRAMME Three days 9:00am – 4:00pm
SALARY & CONTRACT 💷 Living Wage Annual salary review
📄 Fixed Term Contract with a 3-year review
