Café Inc is a welcoming, fully inclusive community café providing free hot and cold meals for families with school-aged children during the school holidays, funded by Fife Council. Open and accessible to all, it offers a safe, relaxed space where families can enjoy nutritious food together, either sitting in or taking meals away to suit their needs.
Families are offered a daily choice of freshly prepared food, including hot sausage rolls, homemade soup, toasties, baked potatoes with a variety of fillings, and a changing daily hot meal. The hot meal options rotate to provide variety and include dishes such as macaroni cheese, chicken korma, spaghetti bolognese, honey mustard chicken casserole, sausage and tomato casserole, meatballs, cottage pie, hot dogs, and burgers.
Alongside meal provision, Café Inc includes a stay-and-play area, giving children the opportunity to engage in child-led, free play while parents and carers connect with others. This creates a supportive environment where families can relax, socialise, and build relationships within their community.
More than just a meal service, Café Inc plays a vital role in reducing social isolation, supporting family wellbeing, and bringing people together during the school holidays.
