Welcome to Heart Of Fife

The congregations of Christ’s Kirk, St Columba’s, St Margaret’s, St Ninian’s, Leslie Trinity and Markinch & Thornton became Heart of Fife Parish of Scotland (Glenrothes, Leslie, Markinch & Thornton) on July 1st 2024.

As of June 2026, we are led by a ministry team which includes Rev Dr Scott Shackleton and Rev Alan Kimmitt as a Team Ministers, Sarah Whittle as Locum Minister, John Hutchison as Pastoral Assistant, Sandra Davie as Children and Families Worker and Irene Ure as Mission Coordinator.

A Nominating Committee is looking to fill the vacant post for a Full Time Minister of Word and Sacrament to join the ministry team.

Currently, we have one main Sunday Morning Service, which rotates around our buildings each week and other afternoon, evening and mid-week worship along with a lot of other activites as we seek to share God's love in our parish and beyond.
